Our Story
Modexa Build is led by Dean and Tom, both of whom are time-served joiners with extensive experience in the construction industry. Dean went on to qualify as a Quantity Surveyor, working with Hogg Builders in York before co-founding Modexa Build. Tom developed his career as a Site Manager and successfully ran his own business for many years before joining forces with Dean. Together, they bring complementary skills and a hands-on approach to every project.
Dean and Tom’s combined expertise ensures that all work is managed with professionalism, attention to detail and a personal commitment to delivering outstanding results for their clients.

Typical Contract Values
- Our typical contract values range from small domestic works to larger projects in excess of £1million.
Contractual Capability
- We are able to work under JCT and other standard building contracts as required.
Insurance
- We hold full public liability, professional indemnity, and contractor’s all-risk insurance.
Health & Safety
- We are currently working towards SSIP Accreditation through HSHE. Whilst we work on this HSHE control our health and safety on site. They provide a full CPHSP and monitor the works periodically during the build process.
